A Kenyan national, Julius Oyaro Nyamache, 62, has been arrested and booked into custody in the United States after authorities in the state of Minnesota filed three misdemeanor charges against him.
The individual was booked into the Hennepin County custody on July 26, 2026, after being arrested by the Brooklyn Park Police Department.
According to Hennepin County jail booking records, Nyamache (Booking ID 2026015731) was booked at 3:19 p.m.
“Julius Oyaro Nyamache was booked in Hennepin County, Minnesota on July 26, 2026,” the record confirmed.
Julius Oyaro Nyamache Charges
The booking record confirmed that Julius Oyaro Nyamache is facing three misdemeanor charges.
They include one count of domestic assault alleging an act intended to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death, a second count of domestic assault alleging intentionally inflicting or attempting to inflict bodily harm on another person, and one count of disorderly conduct.
“Charge description: Domestic assault (misdemeanor) – intentionally inflicts or attempts to inflict bodily harm on another,” the record noted.
Under the U.S. legal system, a misdemeanor is considered a less serious criminal offense than a felony, although it remains a criminal charge that can attract penalties if a conviction is secured.

No additional details about the circumstances leading to the arrest or the alleged incident had been released in the public booking information.
However, the information noted that Julius Oyaro Nyamache is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty through the judicial process.
Kenyan Athlete Daniel Adongo Deported
The news came a day after Kenyan athlete and former NFL linebacker Daniel Adongo was deported from the United States following an immigration removal order.
In an official statement from the Department of Homeland Security on July 25, 2026, Adongo was deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on June 20 after a Department of Justice immigration judge ordered his removal on March 23.

“This CRIMINAL and former NFL linebacker has been DEPORTED after he broke our laws,” the statement read in part.
Authorities said he had overstayed his visa after 2016.
The deportation was announced by ICE, which said Adongo had remained in the country after his lawful immigration status had expired. The agency stated that the removal followed immigration court proceedings that culminated in a final order issued earlier this year.
Following the deportation, ICE Chicago Assistant Field Office Director Douglas Thompson said the agency remained committed to enforcing U.S. immigration laws regardless of an individual’s public profile.
