Former President Mwai Kibaki’s grandson Sean Andrew has hinted at changing his stand on having children.
Speaking in an interview on Obinna TV, Sean revealed the reason why he and his girlfriend have not been interested in having children.
“I’ve previously said I don’t want children,” Sean said.
“Growing up I have never seen myself as a dad, I’ve always seen myself as an awesome uncle.”
Why Sean Andrew could reconsider his stand
In the interview, Sean said they could reconsider their decision soon after looking after his nieces and nephews recently.
“Of late I have some family members from the States, and they have children and I’ve been looking after them. So, my girlfriend and I have somewhat a baby fever, we’ve been talking about babies a lot, so I’ll surprise you guys,” said Sean.
Sean is a popular fashion model and social media influencer. In May 2024, Sean introduced his girlfriend Ashli Knochel to social media with an affectionate text.

Ashli moved to Kenya in 2019 from Atlanti Highlands and has been living in Kenya since then.
Sean previously dated YouTuber Elodie Zone
The model had been previously dating a popular YouTuber Elodie Zone before they broke up in 2016. Elodie later termed the relationship ‘toxic’.

Andrew, on his part, accused Elodie of having a wrong group of friends that influenced her behavior negatively.
This is not the first time the late former President’s grandson has spoken about not wanting children. He addressed the subject on his Instagram while responding to a fan who wanted to know whether he was interested in getting married and settling down.
“Yes, I’ve thought of it, but I don’t see myself being a father, a husband maybe but I don’t want kids. Never have,” wrote the model.
