Faith Nyambura Moi, the daughter-in-law of the late President Daniel Arap Moi has filed a court case to secure Ksh 2.5 million for her son’s medical expenses.
In a statement through her legal representative, Faith Moi is urging the court to compel the administrator of Moi’s estate to release Ksh.2.5 million for medical bills, emphasizing the urgency of the matter while awaiting the resolution of an ongoing inheritance case.

Faith Milkah Nyambura notes that one of Jonathan’s sons is urgently in need of surgery in Washington DC while other minors need to be enrolled to school yet the family of the late President is unwilling to support them.
She also claims that her efforts to seek intervention and assistance of Sylvia Jonathan Moi and Clint Kiprono Moi to cater for the minor’s upkeep have been in vain.

The minors according to documents filed in court were recognized as beneficiaries of late President Moi’s estate as far back as November 26, 2019.

Faith Moi Pleading for Son’s Help
She alleges that Zehrabhanu Janmohamed, the lawyer representing the executor, has reportedly been uncooperative in revealing any details about Moi’s assets despite the family’s financial resources.
As a result, Faith claims she has been compelled to seek financial assistance for her child through a pay bill number, highlighting the challenging circumstances she faces within her own family.
Moi’s 14-year-old grandson was diagnosed with cysts on his upper right jaw and underwent his first surgery in December 2021.
However, in the poster seeking for funds, Faith notes that the son requires Ksh 2.5million for surgery after the cysts grew back.
“Gift 14 years was diagnosed with cysts on his upper right jaw, he underwent his first surgeries in December 2021.
“Unfortunately, the cysts have grown back and multiplied and therefore scheduled for urgent surgery amounting to Ksh.2.5 million,” reads the appeal for help.

Moi’s Inheritance Fight
Jonathan’s widows and his son Collins Moi have over time been involved in a simmering row over the wealth left behind by the former rally driver.
The inheritance of Jonathan Toroitich Moi’s estate further took a messy turn in November 2019 after Faith Nyambura and Beatrice Kipkemboi claimed to be the wives of the late businessman sued his first wife, Sylvia Toroitich, demanding to have equal rights to his estate.
According to Faith, she got married to Jonathan Moi in 2008 under Agikuyu customary laws. Together, the couple was blessed with three children.
Jonathan Moi was the former rally driver who died on April 19, 2019. At the time of his death, he had not written a will. He however left behind three widows – Sylvia Cherotich, Beatrice Mbuli, Faith Nyambura.
