Nadia Mukami, a Kenyan musician, has left members of the public with mixed opinions after publicly declining an apology from her former partner, Arrow Bwoy, on August 1.

During the 10-year concert where Nadia was celebrating her journey, her ex-partner surprisingly made an appearance at the concert, where Nadia’s son Kai and he knelt before the crowd to offer an apology.

However, his apology was met with an unexpected twist when the singer publicly announced that his action was not an apology.

During Arrow Bwoy’s stage appearance, he sang along to the lyrics of one of their hit song Radio Love, before proceeding to apologize.

Further, Arrow Bwoy noted that Nadia remained one of the people that he truly loves and that the couple will eventually sort their relationship issues regardless of how long it takes.

“You are one of the special people in my life; you are my number one. There is no day I will ever disrespect you, and if I have in the past disrespected you unknowingly, please forgive me,” Arrow Bwoy apologized to Nadia.

In the moment after rejecting his apology, Arrow Bwoy stated that he had been nicknamed Arrow Root and Jonasi after the Polygamous lead actor ever since the breakup with the singer.

Nadia Responds To Arrow Bwoy’s Apology

Following the public apology, Nadia clarified that despite her refusal of the apology from Arrow Bwoy, she still holds respect for her former partner, given that he is still the father of her children.

Further, the singer hinted that after the breakup, she has probably moved on and is not willing to go back to her former partner.

Nadia expressed her appreciation to Arrow Bwoy for attending her 10-year concert but advised that he should not keep pushing her and respect her boundaries.

“But if he thinks that is an apology, then it is a big no. He is very, very proud, and that is not an apology. Nothing is going to be the same. Perhaps I have even moved on, and then you just show up. I appreciate you for coming to my show, but that is not an apology. Everything is still the same; the block list has not changed,” Nadia said.

Public Reactions to Nadia Mukami and Arrow Bwoy

During the concert, Nairobi County Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service Geoffrey Mosiria congratulated Nadia on her milestone in the music industry.

Regarding Arrow Bwoy, Mosiria stated that some members of the public had ill feelings after Arrow Bwoy joined Nadia during the concert and had the possibility of getting together.

Mosiria had earlier tried to reunite the couple in early July but failed after Nadia declined the reunion.

Members of the public have debated whether the couples are clout-chasing, with some pointing out that they had coincidentally dressed in matching outfits.

On the other hand, some have criticized Arrow Bwoy for kneeling before Nadia, arguing that he had brought shame to the males in the country.

Others have emphasized that his apology to Nadia was not genuine and that he only did it for the attention from the public.

Nadia’s affirmation that she is not going back to the relationship has also attracted positive support from the public, who have encouraged her to keep up her career.

Nadia on the Breakup

According to Nadia, the breakup was the most painful moment in her life, citing that she had concerns about the impact the breakup would have on her children.

In addition, the singer also explained that the breakup affected her career and hustle.

The couple, however, agreed on co-parenting their children and supporting their welfare, noting that the two had been in a public relationship since 2021 before being engaged in March 2022.
