A medical military officer attached to the Moi Air Base barracks has been killed at a chang’aa den in Bungoma county.
Three people have been arrested in Kimilili, for allegedly attacking and killing the army man
Kimilili Police Station OCPD Mwita Marwa told The Kenya Times that a scuffle ensued between the officer – identified as Edward Barasa – and a group of rowdy youth.

The officer was drinking with the youth at a chang’aa den in Maeni village.
The youth are then said to have descended on the military man with blows and kicks, before one of them hit him on the head with a wooden stick.
He suffered deep cuts on the head and left hand
Barasa succumbed to his injuries before reaching the Kimilili sub-county hospital where he was being rushed for treatment. .
