Kenyans view education as essential for a successful life, with the country prioritizing it highly. Schools play a crucial role, and both parents and the government invest significant resources in school fees to ensure children receive a quality education.
In addition, the investment is considered a worthy endevour since it aims at leveraging the poverty that has firmly established its roots in various communities in the country.
As this is the case, the ministry of education has outlined the amount of fee a student is supposed to pay in a year. The article will provide a comprehensive list of schools, where they are located and the amount of fee students are required to pay.
Moreover, we have different categories of these schools that absorb students in the secondary sections. We have the county schools, and extra county and national schools. Moreover, at the moment we have 126 national schools in Kenya.

Notably, fees in the national secondary schools in Kenya are regulated by the Ministry of Education although some schools charge parents/guardians in the high of 100, 000 shilling. The fees for national schools stand at approximately Ksh.75, 798.
