Malala is accused of engaging in election malpractices on election day.
He is linked to chaos that erupted during the elections after a case of OB number 32/29/8/2022 reported by one Susan Akinyi Omondi.
Akinyi, an ODM agent at Muliro Gardens polling station, accused the outgoing senator of leading a group of about 30 men that assaulted her after claiming she was bribing voters.
She reported the matter to the Kakamega Central Police Station.
Akinyi is said to have sustained bruises on both hands and claiming she had lost Ksh6000 that was in her jacket.
