NTSA Lists Official Contacts for Driving Licenses, Registration and Inspections

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has published a list of official communication channels that motorists, drivers, vehicle owners, and transport operators can use to seek assistance.

According to the authority, the listing of the official communication channels follows concerns over misinformation and fraud targeting members of the public through fake social media accounts, unofficial contacts, and individuals purporting to offer NTSA services.

 “For information relating to any NTSA service, we strongly urge the public to rely exclusively on official communication issued directly by the Authority through its official channels/ platforms,” the NTSA advisory dated July 1 read.

NTSA noted that using designated channels helps ensure faster resolution of inquiries while protecting users from scams.

Alternatively, members of the public seeking assistance can visit NTSA offices or the Huduma Center.

NTSA Official Service Contacts and Support Areas

Motorists seeking assistance on vehicle inspection services have been directed to use [email protected].

The channel has been designated for all motor vehicle inspection-related inquiries, including support with inspection requirements, booking concerns, and status updates.

For motor vehicle registration services, NTSA directed members of the public to use [email protected].

According to the Authority, the channel can be used for vehicle registration, change of ownership and transfer status, number plate applications, vehicle updates and duty-related matters.

Additionally, drivers experiencing challenges with licensing services can contact [email protected].

Smart Driving License inquiries, Smart Driving License status updates, driving license record amendments, PSV badge inquiries, PSV SACCO matters, and support for Road Service Licenses (RSL) and Transport Service Licenses (TSL) are available through the channel.

Individuals seeking assistance with driving school management services should use [email protected] to inquire about driving school licensing, Provisional Driving License (PDL) application support, driver test bookings, driver test status updates, and driving license class endorsements.

The authority has also designated specific email contacts for general communication, complaints, and integrity-related matters.

General correspondence should be sent through [email protected], while members of the public wishing to report corruption-related matters can contact [email protected].

Further, members of the public having complaints regarding service delivery can lodge them through [email protected].

Contact Center Numbers

In addition to email support, NTSA has provided customer support through its contact center.

Members of the public requiring assistance can reach the Authority through 0709 932 300 or 0709 932 000 for service support and inquiries.

Further, the Authority has warned motorists against fraudulent text messages impersonating NTSA, clarifying that official notifications and service alerts are only sent from the senders NTSA and 22847_NTSA.
