The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has announced that its systems will be unavailable for 60 hours starting Friday, July 17, evening, to allow scheduled preventive maintenance.
In a public notice issued on Friday, July 17, NTSA said the maintenance will begin at 8:00 pm on Friday, July 17, and end at 8:00 am on Monday, July 20.
The temporary shutdown means motorists, vehicle owners, driving schools, transport operators and other users who rely on NTSA’s online services may be unable to access the authority’s digital platforms during the maintenance period.
NTSA said the exercise is aimed at improving the quality and reliability of its services.
“This is to inform all our stakeholders that the NTSA system will have scheduled preventive maintenance on Friday, 17th July 2026 (8:00 pm) to Monday, 20th July 2026 (8:00 am),” the authority said.

The authority apologized for the inconvenience the downtime may cause and appealed to members of the public for patience and understanding.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to offer quality services to you,” NTSA added.
Motorists and other users who require NTSA services have been advised to complete any urgent transactions before the maintenance begins or wait until the systems are restored on Monday morning.
Those requiring assistance during the maintenance period have been advised to contact NTSA through [email protected] or visit the nearest NTSA office.
