Controversial preacher Pastor Ng’ang’a has clapped back at critics who came after him after he humiliated and turned away a woman at his church.
In a viral video on social media, Milka Moraa is seen asking the pastor for help stating that she had been kicked out of her house for lack of rent.

Pastor Ng’ang’a then dismissed her, telling her that his church is for prayer and not for begging. He tells her to seek help from the government or the police.

In response to Kenyans criticizing him, the seemingly angry preacher called out critics and the media asking why they have not recognized other people whom he has helped. He was speaking during a church service at his church, Neno Evangelism Centre.

“Those that are in the media, look for someone else to joke around with. I can see you are publicizing the woman that I refused to help. Why have you not done the same to those that I have helped?” said Ng’ang’a.

He stated that his church is not the government and therefore he had the latitude to do what he wants. He asked his critics to open their own churches and help those they want to help.
“This is not the Government of Kenya. I am not chosen by men and therefore I will do what I want. You can also open your own church and help the physically handicapped and such people,” added Pastor Ng’ang’a.

After the video went viral, Kenyans online came together and contributed over Ksh 300,000, which was coordinated by a police officer named Sammy Ondimu. Milka also secured a job at the Expressway Lounge.

The government also came in and Moraa secured a unit in the just concluded Affordable Housing Units at Mukuru Kwa Njenga. She will begin living in the house in two months and will be paying Ksh3,900 per month.
“In two months, Milka is now set to own a self-contained home at Mukuru Site, that is complete with essential amenities, including a kitchen, bathroom, and toilet,” stated the Lands Cabinet Secretary, Alice Wahome.
