CCTV footage has circulated online showing moments before a man was allegedly abducted by unknown people in Lang’ata area.
The footage, dated Saturday, March 30, 2024, depicts a man casually walking along a busy street at around 6:30pm. He checks his phone regularly and crosses the road.
The man in the footage is donned in a blue jacket, jeans and a hut.
However, moments later, a white Subaru passes through the area and stops. Two men are seen alighting from the vehicle.
Further, the footage shows the men walking towards the first man and watching him walk by for a few minutes.
Suddenly, they begin walking towards his direction as if trailing him. The White Subaru shows up and the men begin jogging and then running towards the man.
The CCTV then captures the three men getting into the Subaru, shortly before the vehicle speeds off.

Missing Person’s Report on Man Captured on CCTV
On April 2, missing persons reports of the man captured on CCTV were shared online. Although unconfirmed by the authorities, his friends and acquaintances identified him as Enos Lagat.
The Head of communication at the department of Agriculture and Cooperative Development at the County Government of Nandi, Peter Koima, shared online that Lagat y was last seen on Saturday night at Uchumi Hiper, along Langata road.
“My university comrade, Enos Lagat, from Kesses in Uasin Gishu county was last seen on Saturday night at Uchumi Hiper, along Langata road at around 10:20 PM.
“Any information or leads about his whereabouts can be reported to any nearest police station. May you be found safe and sound comrade,” stated Koima.
At the same time, popular Kalenjin Musician Jackson Kendagor Limo shared a post of the man he indicated was his friend on Facebook, calling on authorities to help find him.
“Who saw Enos Lagat my friend? Where is Enos? His phone is off,” he stated.
Following the reports, other concerned Kenyans took to social media to call on the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to address concerns on the whereabouts of the man.
“DCI, will you not say anything about this. This is very troubling,” Elvis Korir said.

Earlier Abduction Case of Govt Employee
In November 2023, Osman Khalif Abdi, a Nairobi City County government liaison officer was abducted by gunmen and forced into a double cabin vehicle while in the company of his wife.
The family lawyer Wanyanga Mark detailed that Osman was abducted by five assailants who were all armed.
However, about a week later, the abductors let him go. Abdi revealed that he was tortured for eight days adding that his abductors were police officers under the instructions of a powerful politician.
