Liberty Kenya Holdings has announced the appointment of Rosalyn Mugoh as the new Managing Director for Heritage Insurance Kenya Limited.
In a press statement on November 7,2024, Liberty Kenya Holdings said Rosalyn assumes her role with immediate effect upon the completion of the requisite approvals.
According to the company, Rosalyn has over 14 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors.
She also has specialized experience in commercial management, strategic business development, and client relations.
Kieran Godden, Group Chief Executive Officer, Liberty Kenya Holdings affirmed his confidence in Rosalyn’s leadership owing to her extensive background in both commercial and operational leadership.
“I have full confidence in Rosalyn’s leadership at Heritage Insurance as this marks a new chapter in the company’s journey. Her extensive background in both commercial and operational leadership will undoubtedly complement the team as we continue to execute on our strategy,” said Godden.

Profile of Rosalyn Mugoh
Before joining Heritage Insurance, Rosalyn served as the Managing Director and Head of the Commercial Executive Committee at Zamara Kenya and Divisional Head of Employee Benefits at Zamara.
In addition, she has previously held positions of leadership at Aon Kenya and Trustmark Insurance Brokers.
Rosalyn describes herself as an insurance expert, and a transformational leader.
She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Africa Nazarene University.
She is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute and a graduate of the Global CEO Africa Program, completed at the Strathmore Business School, Yale School of Management, and Lagos Business School.

Heritage Insurance noted that it looks forward to continuing strengthening its position as a leader in the insurance sector under Rosalyn’s leadership.
