Nominated Member of Parliament (MP) Sabina Chege has vowed to become Kenya’s first female president.
Appearing with TV47 on Friday, September 29, Chege disclosed her interest for the top political seat.
According to Chege, the country would do well under the leadership of a woman. She explained that a woman would take care of the people like her own children.
Moreover, she noted that male leaders tend to push for things more harshly that female leaders would.
“I pray that I become the first female President of Kenya and I pray to God that that day will come. I can tell you about women and leadership. When a woman is in position, she is a mother. She can take care of everybody.
“Sometimes men can be abrasive and high handed. They tend to push for things harshly,” Chege stated.
