Majority of Kenyans want former President Uhuru Kenyatta to permanently quit politics and silently enjoy his retirement.
A new survey by Trends for Insights Africa (TIFA) shows that at least 59 per cent of Kenyans want Uhuru to avoid politics.
However, 36 per cent of Kenyans want the former President to stay politically active.
The TIFA survey revealed that 70 per cent of Kenya Kwanza supporters want Uhuru to stay away from politics in his retirement.

Only 20 percent of Kenya Kwanza supporters support Kenyatta’s continued involvement in politics.
Further, the poll shows that 51 per cent of Azimio support Kenyatta’s political involvement, while 45 per cent want him to quit.
