Bomet County has a total of 376,985 registered voters spread across its five constituencies, according to data from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Administratively, Bomet County is divided into five constituencies: Bomet Central, Bomet East, Chepalungu, Sotik, and Konoin.
Sotik constituency leads with the highest number of registered voters at 86,681. It is followed closely by Chepalungu, which has 80,140 registered voters.
Konoin records 75,115 voters, while Bomet Central has 71,409. Bomet East has the fewest registered voters in the county, totaling 63,640.

The county’s political representation in the National Assembly is dominated by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), with four of the five Members of Parliament elected on the party’s ticket.

These include Francis Kipyegon Arap Sigei in Sotik, Richard Kipkemoi Yegon in Bomet East, Richard Cheruiyot Kilel in Bomet Central, and Brighton Leonard Yegon in Konoin.
Chepalungu constituency is represented by Victor Kipngetich Koech of Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM), making it the only seat held by a party outside the ruling coalition.
