United States President Donald Trump has lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warning against further military escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
Trump in a strongly worded message on Tuesday, June 24, warned Israel against bombing Iran, saying it is “a major violation.”
“Israel, do not drop those bombs. If you do, it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now!” he said on Truth Social.
He later added, “Israel is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly “Plane Wave” to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the ceasefire is in effect!”
Moments later, Trump affirmed that “Iran will never rebuild their nuclear facilities!”
In a televised interview just before boarding Air Force One as he departed the White House for the NATO summit in the Netherlands, the visibly frustrated President said that he is not happy with the two countries.
“I’m not happy with Israel. When I say ‘OK, now you have 12 hours’, you don’t go out in the first hour and drop everything you have on them. So I’m not happy with them. I’m not happy with Iran either,” he said.
“We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what f— they’re doing.”
Trump announces ceasefire between Israel and Iran
This comes after the President claimed late Monday night that Israel and Iran reached out to him almost simultaneously about peace between the two regions, as the Israeli military said it had identified missiles launched toward the nation from Iran.
Trump added that he expects the ceasefire that he announced between Israel and Iran will end all military hostilities between the two nations.

Earlier, the US President said on Truth Social that the two Middle Eastern countries had agreed to enter into a ceasefire, which would be rolled out in stages over the next 24 hours.
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council had earlier announced what it termed a “national decision” to bring an end to hostilities against what it described as “the Zionist enemy.”
The council emphasized that Iranian forces remain on high alert and fully prepared to respond decisively in the event of future attacks.
It stated that Tehran’s recent military actions were calculated and timely, undertaken to defend Iran’s sovereignty in response to prior assaults on its territory.
Despite the declaration of de-escalation, Iran’s military leadership affirmed its readiness to retaliate if provoked, expressing continued skepticism over enemy intentions and declarations.
The council further claimed that the offensive led to the withdrawal of adversarial forces and a halt to further aggression.
Iranian Media Deny Missile Launches
It credited the strategic leadership of Iran’s Supreme Leader and the armed forces for what it described as a victory that compelled the enemy to retreat and unilaterally cease hostilities.

On Tuesday, May 24, Iranian state-affiliated media denied reports alleging that Iran launched missiles at Israel after a ceasefire between the two nations had taken effect.
“The news that Iran fired missiles at the occupied territories after imposing a ceasefire on the Zionist regime is denied,” read a statement published on the Telegram channel of the semi-official ISNA news agency.
Both ISNA and Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB carried the denial, which followed accusations by Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz that Iran had breached the truce. In response to the alleged violation, Katz ordered intensified military action targeting Iran.
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF), on its part, stated that it would respond firmly to what it described as a significant breach of the ceasefire by the Iranian government.
