Ugandan Member of Parliament (MP) David Wakikona, who was reported missing on October 3, 2022, in Nairobi has been found.
Kilimani OCPD Andrew Muturi confirmed that Wakikona was found by officers attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Moreover, the OCPD stated that the MP had already travelled back to Uganda and that the DCI was conducting further investigation on the matter.
The Uganda Member of Parliament of Bukigai District David Wakikona was reported missing on October 3, after taking a trip to the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD).
Moreover, Uganda’s Monitor publication reported that the member of parliament hailed a taxi from Kilimani area, heading to Tom Mboya Street in Nairobi CBD.
“Mr Wakikona had checked in at Samura Court along Argwings Kodhek road on October 3, 2022, together with his colleagues and his whereabouts remain unknown,” a report filed at Kilimani Police Station reads as cited by Monitor.
Furthermore, Wakikona is said to have been in the company of his colleagues Abdi Kisos, John Ngoya, Paul Busiro and Opio Emmanuel before boarding the Taxi. Likewise, it was two of his colleagues who reported his disappearance at Kilimani Police Station.
