Charlene Ruto has revealed details about the making of her Koito dress, including how it was completed by House of ZIPPY, after her original dress did not work out.
In a statement on August 10, Charlene credited House of ZIPPY for creating the replacement dress, which she said was delivered within one day.
“I dont know how she did it, but she delivered my first dress in a day after my original one did not work out,” she said.
She said the designer had promised years earlier to make her wedding dress, before eventually fulfilling that promise with the Koito dress.
Ruto thanked House of ZIPPY for the dedication and effort put into creating the outfit.
“Years ago, though, she had said she would do my wedding dress, and here we are. Thank you, House of ZIPPY, for the love and dedication you poured into my koito dress,” Charlene Ruto said.

House of ZIPPY is a Kenyan fashion house founded by Zipporah K. Sila, also known as Zippy. The brand specializes in tailor-made clothing and women’s fashion, including palazzo sets, corsets and curated fashion collections.
