Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge is perched on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, offering visitors beautiful views of Lake Nakuru and its famed national park.
The park, known for its rich biodiversity, draws bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts alike, with landscapes ranging from wooded areas and bushy grasslands to lakeshores, escarpments, and ridges.
The lodge is located 165 kilometres from Nairobi and is accessible for 21 kilometres via an all-weather road from the park gate.
Guests can reach the lodge in about 2.5 hours by road from Nairobi or via a 30-minute flight from Wilson Airport to Naishi Airstrip, followed by a 15-minute transfer to the lodge.
Accommodation includes 60 rooms, two of which are wheelchair accessible. For business travellers, the lodge offers a boardroom that seats up to 10 people.
Facilities include a bar, lounge, restaurant, swimming pool, gift shop, television in the main bar, and WiFi in public areas.
Activities on offer range from game drives, bush dining, bird watching, and nature walks to board games, catering to both leisure and adventure seekers.

Visitors may spot a variety of animals at the lodge, including white and black rhinos, as well as the rare Rothschild’s giraffe.

Its nature walks give guests the opportunity to explore and fully appreciate the surrounding environment.

Accommodation Rates
Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge offers a variety of room types to suit different travel needs. Twin rooms feature two queen-size beds, while double rooms come with a large king-size bed.
Triple rooms are furnished with two queen-size beds, and a standard single bed, and quadruple rooms are designed to accommodate two adults and two children with two queen-size beds.
Room rates are charged on a full board basis in U.S. dollars per room per night and include applicable government taxes and service charges.
Park entry and concession fees are not included.

Rates vary by season: during peak periods from 1 July to 30 September and 24 December to 1 January 2024, single rooms are priced at $249, double rooms at $409, triple rooms at $560, and quadruple rooms at $615 per night.
High-season rates, from 2 January to 31 March and from 1 October to 23 December, are $199 for a single room, $309 for a double, $425 for a triple, and $465 for a quadruple room.
Low-season rates, from 1 April to 30 June, are $159 for single occupancy, $228 for double occupancy, $315 for triple occupancy, and $340 for quadruple occupancy.
