Muthu Keekorok Lodge is a safari lodge in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, recognized as the first lodge established in the reserve in 1965.
The lodge sits within expansive savannah plains and offers proximity to wildlife such as hippos and zebras, giving guests direct access to the surrounding ecosystem.
It is positioned near key entry points to the reserve, including Sand River Gate and Sekenani Gate, and is also a short drive from Keekorok Airstrip, with shuttle services available on request.
Over the years, the lodge has hosted several high-profile visitors, including founding President Jomo Kenyatta, Prince Charles, Dr. Henry Kissinger, and former US Secretary of State George P. Shultz.

Muthu Keekorok Lodge offers a range of accommodation options designed to provide comfort and relaxation within the Maasai Mara.
The lodge features presidential and executive suites, premium and luxury rooms, and standard rooms and chalets. Most of the units are designed to offer views of the surrounding park, allowing guests to stay close to nature.
Each room is equipped with amenities such as a tea and coffee station, mosquito nets, hot water, high-speed Wi-Fi, ample luggage storage, and locally inspired décor.

The dining and bar experiences at Muthu Keekorok Lodge are designed to blend food, relaxation, and close contact with nature.
The Chui Restaurant serves as the main dining area, offering a wide variety of meals to suit different tastes. The menu includes Indian, European, Chinese, and Kenyan dishes, incorporating local ingredients and flavours. The setting is relaxed and spacious, catering to both individual guests and groups.
The Hippo Bar and Bridge is located close to the Mara River. It provides a unique setting where guests can enjoy drinks while observing hippos in the river below. Occasionally, crocodiles may also be seen in the water. A small bridge leading to the bar offers views of the river and serves as a quiet walking spot.
The Pool Bar is located next to the outdoor swimming pool and is surrounded by flowering bougainvillea. It offers drinks and light snacks, allowing guests to relax by the pool in a natural, open environment.
