How You Can Access the Lodge
Salt Lick Safari Lodge is accessible by road, train, or air.
Road: Driving from Nairobi takes about six hours, and from Mombasa about three hours. The route passes through the Highlands, offering scenic views and diverse wildlife.
Train: The Madaraka Express provides a view of rural Kenya. From Nairobi, the journey takes 2 hours 41 minutes; from Mombasa, 1 hour 25 minutes, with a stop at Voi Terminal. A 45-minute van transfer from Voi brings visitors to the lodge.
Air: The lodge is 8 kilometers from its private airstrip, served by private charters and helicopters.

Salt Lick Safari Lodge has 96 elevated rooms built across two levels, all featuring ensuite bathrooms.
Guests can choose from double, twin, or triple rooms, with occupancy rules allowing a maximum of two adults or two adults and one child for triple rooms.
Each room is equipped with mosquito nets, electric fans, hairdryers on request, shaver outlets, safe deposit boxes, and private bathrooms with showers.
Facilities at the lodge include free Wi-Fi, ample parking, daily laundry service on request, and a bureau de change.
