Located in the Kalama Wildlife Conservancy in northern Kenya, Saruni Samburu Safari Lodge offers access to both the Samburu National Reserve and the surrounding conservancy.
The lodge has six guest villas and offers access to both the Samburu National Reserve and the Kalama Conservancy, allowing guests to observe wildlife, including elephants and endangered species known as the ‘Samburu Special Five’.
The six villas are designed for privacy and comfort. Two are Single Villas, each with an en-suite bathroom, a dressing room, a living and dining area, and an outdoor verandah.
Four are Family Villas; two with a single shared entrance, while the other two can be booked individually or as a complete unit.
Each Family Villa features two en-suite bedrooms, dressing rooms, a shared lounge and dining area, and multiple verandahs. The layout offers guests flexibility and privacy.
Saruni Samburu also features three types of accommodations: Villa, Honeymoon Villa, and Family Villa.
The Villa has one en-suite bedroom, a spacious living area, a verandah, an outdoor shower, and private dining.
The Honeymoon Villa features a bedroom, living area, and verandah, built on a hillside with panoramic views of the wilderness.
Family Villas come in two layouts: some with separate entrances for full privacy, and others with a single entrance suitable for families, all offering large bathrooms, outdoor showers, and open living spaces.
Facilities at Saruni Samburu
Saruni Samburu features two swimming pools. The main rock-hewn pool has an infinity edge with views of the plains below, while the smaller, elevated pool offers more privacy and panoramic vistas.
Both pools are equipped with sun loungers for relaxation between safaris.
The open-fronted lounge allows cooling breezes and stargazing during dinner. The décor draws inspiration from North African and Middle Eastern design, creating inviting spaces for family and friends.
