Ol Tukai Lodge, located in the heart of Amboseli National Park, offers breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the park’s abundant wildlife, including its famous African elephants.
The lodge opened in 1996 on the site originally used by the 1948 film crew for The Snows of Kilimanjaro, based on Ernest Hemingway’s stories.
The lodge reflects the rich cultural history of the area, shaped by the Maasai community, the colonial government, and early European explorers.
Originally catering to leisure travelers seeking authentic safari experiences, Ol Tukai Lodge now also serves corporate guests, offering flexible accommodations and a scenic base for exploring Amboseli’s wildlife and landscapes.
