Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has broken her silence after US President Donald Trump withdrew his support and endorsement for her candidacy on Friday, November 14, 2025.
Trump accused Marjorie Taylor Greene, a longtime MAGA ally, of shifting to the far left and becoming a constant complainer who, in his view, had grown too comfortable in her position and was no longer delivering for the people of Georgia or the country.
“All I see Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN! She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore,” Trump stated.
In her response, Taylor Greene on Saturday, November 15, 2025, said one of the reasons behind President Trump’s outburst is her stance on the Epstein files.
She was among a small group of Republicans who joined Democrats in signing a petition to force a vote on releasing all Justice Department files related to Jeffrey Epstein. According to Greene, Trump was angered by her position and accused her of trying to “scare all the other Republicans” by supporting the vote.
“It really makes you wonder what is in those files and who or what country is putting so much pressure on him,” the congresswoman stated.
She further alleged that her efforts to defend women who were victims of rape and expose a network of “rich, powerful elites” also contributed to her fallout with the president.

Despite Trump withdrawing his support, Greene said she has forgiven him and hopes he will rethink his recent policy positions.
“I forgive him, and I will pray for him to return to his original MAGA promises,” she said.
Another point of disagreement between them, she added, is her criticism of Trump’s foreign-policy-first approach. Greene has argued that Trump is prioritizing international engagements over urgent domestic issues such as rising healthcare costs and the H-1B visa program.

She has repeatedly urged him to focus on lowering the cost of healthcare and prescription drug expenses.
Greene also supports a full ban on the H-1B visa program, a position Trump called “Far Left” and contrary to his administration’s objectives.

Moments before withdrawing his endorsement, Trump pushed back against Greene’s criticism that he spends too much time overseas.
“She’s lost a wonderful conservative reputation. She says, ‘Don’t go overseas?’ If I didn’t, we may be in a WAR right now with CHINA!,” Trump wrote.
