Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) has issued an urgent advisory to citizens in Iran, urging them to avoid using trains or traveling near railway lines until Tuesday, April 7, evening.
In a statement dated April 7, the authorities, citing safety concerns, warned that being on trains or near tracks during this period could endanger lives.
IDF noted that the restriction is temporary and in effect until 21:00 Iran time.
“Urgent Warning to Users and Train Passengers in the Country of Iran. Dear Citizens, for the sake of your security, we kindly request that from this moment until 21:00 , you refrain from using and traveling by train . Your presence on trains and near railway lines endangers your life,” read part of the statement.
Trump Threatens to Demolish Iran’s Infrastructure
The warning came hours after Iran rejected the United States’ 45-day ceasefire proposal and said that it wants a permanent end to the war.
However, the US President Donald Trump set an ultimatum to make a deal ticking closer with an expanded threat of strikes against the Islamic Republic to include all power plants and bridges.

Trump said that he is “not at all” concerned about potential repercussions, threatening to bomb infrastructure if Iran does not meet his deadline to allow shipping traffic to fully resume through the Strait of Hormuz.
He added that civilians were actively welcoming US strikes on their country’s infrastructure, as they would be willing to suffer the loss of power and basic services to achieve freedom from the Islamic Republic.
Trump also dismissed concerns that targeting the power grid and civilian infrastructure would punish ordinary civilians rather than the regime.
“Please keep bombing. These are people who are living where the bombs are exploding,” said Trump.
Severe Consequences if Trump Strikes
Iran warned on Monday that it will deliver a “crushing” response if Trump follows through on threats to strike power plants, bridges, and other infrastructure.
Although Iran continues to launch ballistic missiles across the region, causing snarled shipping lanes, the US has carried out strikes on its missile sites and command centers.
