Sensational Kenyan songstress Juliet Miriam Ayub known to many as Jovial has for the first time revealed why she does not have female friends.
Jovial, who is currently riding high with Lalala disclosed that in fact, she has and actually prefers having male friends to female ones.
The musician, through an Insta-stories update seen by The Kenya Times, said men are cool and easy to deal with compared to women.
According to Jovial, ladies are complicated, difficult to deal with, and above all, hate each other.
Jovial went on to reveal that she has less collaboration with fellow ladies because of the challenges that come with dealing with them.
The star also pointed out that the hate between females is among the reasons why the Kenyan music industry has only a bunch of ladies.

“Someone asked me why I don’t have friends. I do have friends but male friends and that is my team. Hakuna watu hukuwa chilled kama maboys. Anytime any day. It depends on how you carry yourself. Wanawake hatupendani, sijui shida hukuwa gani. One of the reasons why I am choosy when it comes to female collaborations. I hate negative vibes man. Those who know me know me. That is why I prefer a male team. Focused! Hata pressure za IG zinatokana na madem. That is why female artists are less in the industry. No love.”Jovial wrote.
Jovial is not the only female celebrity who has shared about the hate that women have against each other.
Several Kenyan female musicians such as Vivianne, Kush Tracy, Sosuun among others have in their previous interviews echoed Jovial’s sentiments.
