Embattled former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i is expected to present himself before the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) today for questioning.
Matiang’i jetted back into the country on Sunday after a two-week trip to the United Kingdom.
Insider sources told The Kenya Times that the ex-CS landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 10:00 pm .
Matiang’i is expected to present himself to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters at 11:00 am today.
The DCI is seeking to question him over the alleged police raid at his Karen home in February.

The Uhuru era CS was summoned by the DCI last month but failed to show up after his lawyers said he was yet to receive any summons.
He was to be questioned on grounds that he could have published false information regarding the alleged police raid a fortnight ago.
His lawyer Danstan Omari had accused the DCI of failing to follow the laid down procedure in summoning his client.
Omari had reiterated that should the DCI follow the set guidelines on the summons, they will willingly present their client for questioning.
At the same time, the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) is investigating Matiang’is wealth that was acquired during his stint as a CS in former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s government.
The agency has written to the Head of Public Service seeking to be supplied with wealth declaration forms of the former CS.
