ODM Expulsion
Jalang’o was among the ‘rebel’ legislators expelled by the ODM party, with Raila’s outfit accusing them of betrayal.
ODM argued that the MPs were wrong to support President William Ruto’s government, which the opposition parties do not recognize.
However, the legislators have maintained that they will continue working with the Kenya Kwanza government for development of the regions they represent.
The team had visited President William Ruto at State House on Tuesday, February 7.
According to ODM, all lawmakers who have gone against party positions and joined the government should seek fresh mandate from the people either as independent candidates or using a party another party.
