President William Ruto seems to be winning over Members of Parliament (MPs) elected on the Jubilee party after hosting them at State House, Nairobi.
On Monday morning, current and former Jubilee MPs were hosted for a breakfast meeting at State House by President William Ruto.
East African Legislative Assembly member Kanini Kega and nominated MP Sabina Chege led the jubilee party to meet Ruto.
Kega and Chege campaigned vigorously against Ruto in the August 2022 polls.
The two led former and current party members to pledge loyalty to the president.

According to Kanini Kega the meeting was to discuss the unity of the Mount Kenya region, and completion of development projects that were started by the previous regime.
Kanini said that they were concerned about the many projects that the previous government had started but noted that the current government is keen to complete all of them.
“We must build a bigger and better team that will work together to effectively prosecute the agenda of the people of Kenya. We cannot move our country forward by leaving others behind,” Ruto said after the meeting.
Present at the meeting was Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Also present were MPs David Kiaraho (Ol Kalou), Irene Njoki (Bahati), Zachary Kwenya (Kinangop), Shadrack Mwiti (South Imenti), Mark Mwenje (Embakasi West), Amos Mwago (Starehe), Daniel Karitho (Igembe Central), Stanley Muthama (Lamu West) and Joseph Githuku (Lamu).
