Jewish billionaire Bill Ackman has today come out to show his support for Israel by asking U.S. President Donald Trump to support Iran at this critical time with the “equipment and armaments to complete the job.”
Bill Ackman, the lifelong donor and supporter of Democratic candidates and, most recently, one of the main endorsers of Trump in the 2024 United States presidential election has recently come out stronger than ever in full support of Israel’s actions in the Gaza war, insisting U.S. support will surely bring an end to the war.

Trump Asked to Attack Iran
“The parade was great. Our military is incredible. And now Israel needs our help to destroy Iran’s nuclear threat to the world,” the philanthropist posted on his official X account.
This statement comes at a very crucial time when the war between Israel and Iran is as intense as ever, with Israel’s Operation Rising Lion on June 13, 2025, targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The operation resulted in the deaths of key Iranian figures, including Hossein Salami, and disrupted Iran’s defences. Ackman emphasises that Israel’s military has degraded Iran’s defences, creating a “lowest-risk, highest-probability moment” to act.
“We should not let this opportunity pass, but Israel does not have the equipment and armaments to complete the job. We do, and it does not need boots on the ground.” Ackman stated.
However, Trump had warned Iran to agree to a nuclear deal and stated that the U.S. was not involved in recent Israeli strikes on Iran, indicating a preference for diplomatic solutions over military action at this stage
On June 13, 2025, Bill Ackman posted documents by Iran stating that Iran is already holding the U.S. responsible for Israel’s attack, referring to the U.S. as the “Great Satan” and Israel as the “Little Satan.”
He highlighted Israel’s success in decimating Iran’s air defences and military leadership, predicting further accomplishments in the coming days.
Ackman then proposed that if Israel cannot completely destroy Iran’s nuclear capability, the U.S. should “finish the job” using a “handful of MOABs,” emphasizing on the importance of U.S. in deciding the conflict in the Middle East.
“The war Israel has been fighting has been on behalf of all of us. Let’s help them finish the job.” Ackman remarked.

U.S. in the Middle East
Data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) shows that the U.S. provides significant military aid to Israel, approximately $3.8 billion annually, which has bolstered Israel’s capabilities.
This aid reduces the perceived need for direct U.S. ground involvement, aligning with Ackman’s call for support without troops.
Iran’s leadership has consistently framed the U.S. as a puppet master behind Israel’s actions, despite U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s assertion on June 13, 2025, that the strikes were “unilateral” and the U.S. was not involved.
Despite the hostility, some Iranian officials have expressed openness to dialogue. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a June 14, 2025, speech, hinted at negotiations if the U.S. lifts sanctions and distances itself from Israel’s actions, though he dismissed current U.S. overtures as insincere.
As tensions rise, Iran’s leadership balances defiance with cautious openness to talks, while public sentiment remains hostile.
