Jevin Oyoo Kassam, the Eldoret Polytechnic student who recently sparked national attention after boldly asking President Ruto to listen to the pleas of voters, has revealed that he indeed had the opportunity to speak with the Head of State.
In an exclusive interview with Nixon Njau at The Kenya Times, Oyoo said the encounter was a rare opportunity and therefore he had to use it well.
He further revealed he was heavily involved in activism before and challenging for youth’s rights in a path which saw him given the nickname Omba Omba Comrade, a name he says he has learnt to embrace.
