The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced paid industrial attachment opportunities for both diploma and degree students in its October to December 2025 programme.
In its announcement, KRA invited applications from continuing undergraduate students in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, and diploma students in their final year, for the three-month attachment running from October to December 2025.
“In support of the Government’s Youth Initiative to develop a pool of young talent for the Kenyan labour market, KRA is seeking applications from continuing undergraduate students in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, and diploma students in their final year, for its three-month (October to December 2025) Industrial Attachment Programme,” read part of the statement.
According to KRA, the programme aims to provide young people with an opportunity to acquire practical skills in their respective areas of specialisation, in partial fulfilment of their degree or diploma requirements.
Disciplines Available for KRA Industrial Attachment Programme
Attachment opportunities will be offered in a wide range of fields, including:
- Finance and Business: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing & Communication, Business Administration, Business Management, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Counselling Psychology.
- Communication and Media: Communications, International Relations, Diplomacy, Public Relations, Media Studies, Photography, Videography, Film Production, and Animation.
- Hospitality and Services: Food & Beverage, Hotel Management, Housekeeping & Laundry Management, Records Management, Records & Archives, Library & Information Science, and Security & Safety Management.
- Security and Law: Criminology, Criminal Justice, Forensics, Law.
- Technical Fields: ICT, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Land Economics, Property Management, Quantity Survey, Actuarial Science, Transport & Logistics, Fleet Management.
- Science and Education: Education, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Occupational Health, Disaster Management, and Stenography.
Eligibility Requirements for The Programme
Candidates wishing to apply for the Industrial Attachment Programme must meet the following requirements:
- Be Kenyan citizens aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Be continuing undergraduate students (3rd, 4th, or final year) or diploma students in their final year at a recognised university or college.

- Have a valid introduction letter from their institution.
- Be available full-time for the three-month duration of the programme.
Application Guidelines
- All applications must be submitted online via the KRA e-recruitment portal.
- Registration is required before applying.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

- KRA does not charge any fee for the process.
- A monthly stipend of KSh 7,000 (subject to statutory deductions) will be provided.
- Selected candidates must present proof of a valid personal accident insurance cover, KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF and NSSF membership, national ID, and bank account details.

- Visit https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login and click Register to create an account.
- Confirm your email to complete registration.
- Log in to your account, go to the Applicant Cockpit, and update your Candidate Profile.
- Click on Employment Opportunities to view available vacancies.
- Select the Industrial Attachment posting and click Apply.
- Complete all mandatory fields, review the application, accept the Data Privacy Statement, and click Send Application Now.
