Gachagua Goes After Kanja
Earlier, Gachagua wrote a letter to the Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja, alleging that there were attempts to assassinate him.
In the letter, he expressed concern over the safety of himself, his family, his supporters, and his property.
Further, he stated that Kanja was facilitating crime and violence, noting that his security detail had been withdrawn as part of a calculated plan to expose him to harm.
Consequently, he demanded the immediate arrest and prosecution of those behind the alleged acts of violence and insisted on being provided with full security during all public events he attended.
“You withdrew my security in a clear, thought-out scheme and backward conspiracy to make me vulnerable to organized criminal gangs in cohort with the police and other security agencies, and you have been implementing the scheme. You are aware of that,” Gachagua stated in the letter.
