Three people suspected of being part of a gang that has been terrorizing locals in Suna East, have been arrested by the Migori County police.
According to Nyabisawa Assistant Chief Barack Ogaja, the three were arrested in an ongoing crackdown targeting those behind the series of break-ins.
“The suspects were arrested moments after breaking into a shop at Nyamanga trading center,” Chief Ogaja reported.
Moreover, the suspects are currently being grilled by police in a bid to trace their accomplices.
The arrest of these three follows the wake of a spate of robbery cases
Nonetheless, area residents have been urged to work jointly with police to have all perpetrators face the long arm of the law.
