Kikuyu musician, influencer, and philanthropist Karangu Muraya has introduced a second wife.
Taking to his Facebook account the musician posted photos of his first wife Trizah Karangu as well as that of his second wife, Carol Kim referring to them as the people who have stood with him at his lowest.
He also stated that the purpose of the message is to quell trolls that he has been receiving online.
Karangu Muraya sends a message to critics
“And because you have decided to troll me at my lowest. Let me put my records straight. Below are special persons who have supported me passionately and wholeheartedly in all seasons,” stated the musician.
He went on to add that he would reciprocate the love to his wives and children. He also asked netizens who wanted to troll him under the law.

“In return, I will always provide, take care of, and protect them together with our children. Troll me and criticize me within the law if you must,” added Karangu.
In 2023, Karangu shared photos of himself and his wife Gacheri on a vacation in Zanzibar to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary. He revealed that he did not take his wife on honeymoon when they got married because he could not afford it.
Karangu accused of mistreating the wife
“12 years ago, after our wedding, I couldn’t afford to take her on honeymoon poverty called me babe but today, I will pay that debt by taking her to Zanzibar. If you do not find me on the phone I am on honeymoon,” said Karangu.

In 2024, a scandal ensued where the wife claimed that she had been mistreated by Karangu. There were also rumours that Karangu had abandoned his wife for the younger lady, Carol Kim.
The rumours started doing rounds on social media after his first wife Trizah recorded an audio clip stating that she has been neglected by the musician but has been tolerating the musician because of the children.
In response, Karangu publicly addressed the situation affirming his commitment to his family and dismissing the claims.
