CNN Journalist Larry Madowo has responded to a marriage proposal made to him by a Kenyan woman through email.
Larry posted a screenshot of the email stating that the lady had come back to follow up on the marriage proposal she had made towards the end of 2024.
“Guess who followed up on their marriage proposal?” stated Larry.

In the message, the lady identified as Bonareri made a reference to a previous email asking the journalist why he did not respond to the email.
“Reference is made to the below email. You did not give me a yes or no answer,” read the email.

While making the proposal, the lady went straight to the point to the point. She stated her name and age, and said she would like him to marry her and that everything else would be explained later.
“Good day Larry, no wasting words. I am twenty-four years old, Kenyan, and want you to marry me. Everything will be explained later,” read another part of the email.
The post has elicited reactions online with most X users urging the journalist to respond to the email.

“It is good manners to reply to emails or give feedback. You are a good person with great etiquette. I am positive you shall respond to her,” stated Suzie Roberts.
“A 24-year-old has a lot of time and data. Larry answer her or else you will have a long and hard time, the emails will keep coming,” stated Muli on X.

Larry is rumoured to be dating Deutsche Welle (DW) journalist Edith Kimani. The two have been posting loved-up photos on their social media accounts.
Recently, Larry shared a cozy video with Edith in a luxurious hotel having a good time. The two have been spotted on vacations together but neither has come out to openly confess that they are truly in a relationship.
