Renowned music producer Njenga Chege famously known as Magix Enga has revealed the effect of his battle with alcoholism.
In a post on social media, Magix asked God to save him as he was experiencing a lot of pain.
“God save me too much pain,” he said.
While revealing that he was having a hard time health wise due to excessive alcohol consumption, Magix Enga noted that he was unable to finish shooting a music video because he was coughing blood.
“I have tried having fun today, trying to shoot a music video but the day is going badly for me, I am coughing blood, stay safe, I can’t blame anyone, it’s the alcohol I am consuming a lot. God will help me,” he said.
Magix Enga Alcohol Addiction
Magix Enga’s struggles began when he alleged that a section of musicians, he worked with exploited him and never paid for his contributions.
Through his Instagram, the producer said he is currently facing a lot and asked for forgiveness from his followers if he had wronged them, as things are getting worse on his side.
He further lamented that the current situation is slowly killing his talent and he cannot process why.
“There is talent, though I am not doing okay. I am going through a lot, and I do not understand why. Somebody, please. If I wronged anyone, I apologize. More love to all of you,” he said.

A month ago, a viral video of him looking frail, with unkempt hair, seated under a tree, looking homeless and confused went viral.
He told his fans that he had been in rehab for three months battling drug addiction.
Back in October2023, the producer noted that he was going through a transformation, and shaving his signature dreadlocks and quitting alcohol were some of the steps he had put into consideration.

Kenyans Online Encourage Magix Enga
Following his revelation, a section of Kenyan celebrities conveyed encouraging messages to him
Businessman and musician KRG the Don encouraged Enga and urged him to take a day at a time.
“Slowly by slowly my G you will overcome this battle with alcoholism,” he said.
Instagram user Nathaniel Kiilu commended him as the best in his job and urged him not to give up.
“Enga don’t burn your dream and still burn your liver, please get up young dawg you are still the best,” Nathaniel noted.
Musician Vivian related Magix’s situation to her past, she urged him not to play victim and concentrate on working on his sanity and getting his power back.
“Magix you are a scapegoat of your generation which is perfectly normal. I am one too however you are operating in victim. And that’s not good. You are a hero. Start there. You don’t owe no one nothing but you owe yourself sanity and power over your life,” Vivian said.
