Single Kiasi actor, Lenana Kariba has revealed that his wife, monikered Hellen supports him on filming intimate scenes.
Renowned for his performance in various Showmax series like ‘Single Kiasi’ and ‘ How to find a husband,’ Lenana shared that they always discuss the scripts and navigates through with his wife before shooting.
“My wife and I always go through the scripts together before I shoot anything. She really is the most understanding person when it comes to my job,” the actor revealed.
“She supports my career 100% in the same way I support hers and she’s all about Nick and the things that he does. We definitely watch Single Kiasi together and it is our weekly plan again as the new episodes drop.”
In the series, Lenana plays a role of Nick who is a local celebrity that arrives in Rebecca’s life with an air of mystery and charm before everything goes to ruin.
Single Kiasi Season 3 is Back
Confirming his comeback in Single Kiasi Season 3, the actor has expressed joy in returning on the show’s third season.
” It’s great to be back, OfCourse. I’ve had so much fun shooting season 3 and I feel like we’ve been able to develop the character and show more of Nick than we got in season 1,” he said.

The single Kiasi actor has further revealed that he wasn’t sure of his comeback to the screen after the series ended.
“I really wasn’t sure as the way Nick’s story ended in season 1 was kind of going out without a bang. I’d had a great time shooting that season and I was okay with the possibility of that being it. But then when I got the call about Season 3, it was a no-brainer for me,” confirmed Lenana.
Challenges of Shooting Intimate Scenes
Additionally, Kariba explained that sexual scenes are not difficult to handle as people perceive.
“Honestly, sex scenes are not even the hardest ones to do. It’s all choreographed by the directors as they have a vision for exactly how they want it to come out,” he shared.
“The actor’s job is just to bring the emotions to make it look real. There is nothing sexy about having three cameras and multiple people watching you act out a sex scene.”

Lenana married his wife in 2021.
The actor shared of his transitioned life as a new father, narrating the joys and challenges of parenting and highlighting how his daughter, Ava has brought a new perspective of life.
“Right now, I’m still in the easy stages as Ava is only nine months old. Fatherhood has taught me about life; it’s also definitely showed me I can function on less sleep than I thought,” the actor shared.
