List of KMTC Courses and Requirements
HIV Training and Counseling Services (HTS, accredited by the National AIDS and STI Control Programme (NASCOP), prepares participants to offer comprehensive counselling services.
The course targets individuals interested in working in HIV/AIDS programs, with a minimum certificate in any health-related course.
Adherence Counseling equips participants with the knowledge and skills to motivate individuals living with HIV/AIDS to maintain their treatment and adhere to the guidelines provided.
The course is open to those with a certificate in HTS, health or social sciences, counseling, community health, and development.

Echocardiography helps learners acquire skills and competences in the generation and interpretation of images of the heart and blood vessels using ultrasound.
Those who qualify for this course are Radiographers, Doctors, Clinical officers and Nurses with a minimum Diploma and professional registration.
Point of Care Ultrasound deals with obtaining and interpreting ultrasound images to help with obstetrics care. Doctors, Nurses, and Clinical officers with a minimum Diploma and professional registration are eligible for the course.
Monitoring & Evaluation focus on equipping participants with the requisite competencies to design projects, ensure they are on track, evaluate progress, and demonstrate accountability.
Project officers, health information officers, and anyone involved in designing or monitoring interventions (minimum diploma) qualify for the course.
Regional Anaesthesia and Acute Pain Management focuses on performing regional blocks, managing acute pain and improving perioperative care while using point of care ultrasound.

Upper Extremity Splinting in Occupational Therapy focuses on managing injuries and conditions of the upper extremity through splinting. Practicing occupational therapists (minimum Diploma) qualify.

Safe Phlebotomy provides participants with the knowledge and skills to safely draw blood, handle equipment, and avoid occupational exposure.
