KUCCPS Opens KMTC Application Portal for 2026 Intake: How to Apply

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has invited applications for placement at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

In an announcement on January 7, KUCCPS stated that the application window will run from January 7 to January 27, 2026.

“Application for placement to Kenya Medical Training College March 2026 intake, is now open. Application period: January 7 to January 27, 2026,” KUCCPS announced.

Applicants have been directed to log into the KUCCPS System via the link http://students.kuccps.ac.ke to view available programmes and apply.

Certificate Courses

For certificate-level programmes, students can choose from: Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology, Certificate in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Certificate in Nutrition & Dietetics, and Certificate in Medical Engineering.

Students can also apply for a Certificate in Orthopedic Trauma Medicine, Certificate in Public Health, Certificate in Community Health Assistant, Certificate in Medical Emergency Technician, and Certificate in Health Insurance Management.

How to Apply

• To access the Student Portal, visit the KUCCPS student portal using this link: students.kuccps.net
• Click on the “Login” tab and enter your KCSE Index Number, KCSE Year, and Password. Note: Your password is either your Birth Certificate Number or your KCPE Index Number.
• Once logged in, click on “KMTC Programmes” to view all available courses and their minimum entry requirements.
  Applicants can only apply for courses if they meet the minimum requirements.
• After reviewing the options, decide on your preferred courses and note their Programme Codes.
• Start Application by clicking on the “KMTC Application” tab, then select “Apply Now.”
• Input the Programme Codes in the form provided, arranging them in your order of priority from your most preferred course (No. 1) to your least preferred course (No. 4).
• After entering all your preferred Programme Codes, wait for the system to fetch the programme details before clicking Submit.
• After submission, you will be required to pay Ksh1,500. The portal will then display the payment instructions.
