Former KTN journalist Willy Lusige has declared his interest in the position of Men’s Conference organization chairman.
This development comes on the heels of the resignation of the previous chairman, Citizen TV Journalist Citizen Letoo on April 30.
In a Facebook post, Lusige offered himself for the role in an acting capacity until a substantive chairman is elected within 90 days.
He claimed that senior members of the organization had agreed that the position requires a young, energetic individual who can steer the movement towards greatness.
“During yesterday’s highly guarded closed-door meeting held in Kisumu, senior members have agreed that the position needs a young, energetic man who will steer the movement’s wheels to greatness,” said Lusige.

Lusige, who describes himself as a staunch Christian, expressed his willingness to take on the responsibility, stating, “I have accepted “shingo upande” to continue holding the vacant position in an acting capacity until a new chairman is established within 90 days.”
Lusige’s journey to this point has been marked by a diverse set of experiences.
