The county government of Kajiado has invited interested and qualified Kenyans to apply for 53 vacant positions in the health department.
In a notice on August 23, the board called on the qualified candidates to send in their applications.
“Pursuant to article 235 of the constitution of Kenya 2010, and section 59 of the County Government Act, N. 17 of 2012, The Kajiado County Public Service Board wishes to invite applications from candidates with requisite qualifications to fill the following vacancies that exist in its establishment,” the notice read.
The job vacancies are categorized into various groups, with Group H leading in the number of positions. This group includes 18 vacancies for Registered Nurse (III), 9 for Assistant Public Health Officer (III), 3 for Radiographer (III), and 2 for Medical Lab Technologist (III).

The county also announced 10 vacancies for Enrolled Nurse (III) under group G, and vacancies for Critical Care Nurse and an Oncology Nurse under group K.
Additionally, Group J has 3 positions for Registered Clinical Officer (II), while Group M offers 1 position for a Dental Officer, 2 positions for Medical Officer, and 1 position for a pharmacist.
Lastly, Group R has 2 positions available for Physicians.
How to apply for Kajiado Healthcare Jobs
Applications can be submitted only by hand delivery to the undersigned, no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, September 6, 2024.
In addition, jobseekers were warned against online applications as they will not be accepted.
Only short-listed candidates will be contacted. They will be required to present original copies of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates.

Also to be presented are transcripts, registration certificates from professional bodies, and any other relevant documents during the interviews.
Furthermore, the board encouraged applications from the youth, Women and Persons living with Disabilities (PLWDs). Similarly, it urged marginalized and minority communities to apply.
“Any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification; Please be informed that Kajiado County Public Service Board DOES NOT use agents, nor does it charge any fees,” the notice read.
