The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has announced 131 vacant positions for various professions, inviting interested and qualified Kenyans to apply.
The fund has indicated that it would like to engage suitably qualified and highly motivated persons for the jobs in various departments at their head office and other branches across the country.
Among the advertised positions include administrative assistants, security officers and office assistants. Other vacant positions include ICT officers, compliant officers, fingerprints officers and a human resource officer.
Interested individuals have been directed to submit their applications before or on Monday, September 9, 2024, latest 5:00pm (EAT).
“NSSF is a State Corporation established under the National Social Security Act that is responsible for providing social security protection to workers in the formal and informal sectors through member registration, receiving contributions, managing funds of the scheme and timely pay out of benefits to eligible members or dependents.
“To fulfil its mandate, NSSF wishes to engage suitably qualified and highly motivated persons for the positions listed,” the notice read in part.

NSSF Details Qualifications and Number of Positions
NSSF is looking to recruit three ICT officers for the head office with bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field from a recognized institution.
They should also be proficient in computer applications.
Also, there are 41 vacant positions for compliance officers. Applicants should be holders of a bachelor’s degree in either Social Sciences; Business Administration; Law, Public Relations; Marketing or related field from a recognized Institution.
There are also 14 positions for fingerprint officers who must have a bachelor’s degree in forensic science or related field from a recognized Institution.
On the other hand, there are 2 positions for assistant Records Management Officers III, one position for a human resource manager, a security officer with a bachelor’s degree in criminology or any security-related field, and 35 positions for office administrators.
The fund is also looking for 23 drivers for its head office and field offices. For appointment to this grade, an officer must have a minimum KCSE grade of D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification, a valid Driving License, at least two (2) years driving experience, suitability trade test for drivers.
They must also have done a first aid certificate course, a valid certificate of good conduct, proficiency in computer applications, and practical test for drivers conducted by the ministry responsible for transport.
Individuals who scored a D- grade in KCSE can apply for 11 office assistant vacant positions at the fund.

How to Apply
Qualified and interested candidates have been directed to submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, certified copies of certificates/testimonials and a certified copy of National ID Card.
The documents can be submitted by either post office or hand delivery in an envelope indicating the position applied for.
Hand delivery applications should be dropped at the Mail Registry, Ground Floor, Block A – Western Wing, Social Security House, Bishops Road.
“If applying for more than one position each application should be in a separate envelope clearly indicating the position on the envelope.”
