The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced 203 vacant positions across various disciplines.
In an advert on Tuesday, May 14, KMTC announced that successful candidates will be deployed in its various branches.
“The KMTC Board of Directors seeks to recruit competent, result oriented, knowledgeable, dynamic, visionary and experienced persons to fill the following vacant positions tenable at the Kenya Medical Training College Headquarters and various Campuses,” read part of the advert.
Spanning a diverse range of positions, these opportunities offer candidates the chance to contribute to KMTC’s mission of training healthcare professionals and advancing healthcare delivery nationwide.
The institution is seeking to fill up to 50 lecturer II positions in the nursing department and 25 Lecturer II who specialized in Clinical Medicine.

KMTC Advertises Jobs
Furthermore, 20 vacancies were advertised for the position of Lecturer II in the field of Health Records and Information Technology and 15 for lecturer with experience in Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine.
The Board is additionally in pursuit of filling 15 positions for Lecturer II in the Medical Social work department and 10 vacancies for Senior Lecturers in the Pharmacy department.
A total of 15 openings for the position of Lecturer II who have experience in Medical Engineering have also been advertised.

The institution also seeks to recruit 15 Lecture II in the Nutrition Dietetics Department and 10 Lecturer II in Radiography and Imaging.
Dental technology and Medical Lab Science department each seek to recruit five lecturers.
KMTC is also seeking five applicants for the position of senior lecturer in Community Oral Health and 10 drivers.
Vacant positions requiring only one post each comprise the Planning Manager, Deputy Finance Manager and Principal Planning Officer.

The application will be closed on Friday, 31st May 2024.
In addition, successful candidate shall be required to provide the following documents before issuance of the offer letter in compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010:
Certificates of clearance from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
Other documents required are clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) and valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Applicants Should Note the following:
(1) Applicants should provide all the details requested for in the advertisement. It is an offence to include incorrect information in the application.
Details of academic and professional certificates not obtained by closure of the advert should not be included.
II) Shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce originals of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates, as well as transcripts during interviews.
III) It is a criminal offence to present fake certificates/documents.
