The County Government of Mombasa has announced 40 job opportunities for medical professionals.
In a notice dated Thursday, March 13, the county stated that the recruitment is part of its efforts to strengthen healthcare services in the region.
The vacancies, advertised by the Mombasa County Public Service Board, offer three-year contract positions in various medical fields.
“The Mombasa County Public Service Board has announced job vacancies for healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery in public hospitals and medical centers.
“The recruitment drive seeks to fill 40 positions on a three-year contract basis across various medical fields,” the notice read in part.

Details of the Mombasa Medic Positions
According to the job advertisement, Mombasa County is seeking qualified professionals to fill various healthcare positions aimed at improving service delivery in public hospitals and medical centers.
The available positions include one position for a Medical Specialist I (Gynecologist), 12 positions for Registered Clinical Officer III and 12 vacancies for Pharmaceutical Technologist III.
Additionally, the county government is looking for 12 Medical Laboratory Technologist III.
Mombasa County has also invited applications for one Medical Social Worker III position, a Director for Clinical Services, Training, and Research, and a Director for Quality Assurance and Facility Outreach.
Interested applicants must have the necessary academic qualifications and valid practicing licenses for their respective fields.
Additionally, they must provide proof of Kenyan citizenship by submitting a copy of their National Identity Card.

How to Apply
Interested and qualified candidates have been directed to submit their applications online by filling out the official application form available on the Mombasa County Public Service Board website (www.mcpsb.go.ke).
The deadline for applications is April 4, 2025, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further recruitment steps.
Applicants must submit their curriculum Vitae (CV), Academic and Professional Certificates, a Valid Practicing Licenses, and a National Identity Card (ID) for proof of Kenyan citizenship
Mombasa County assured that the recruitment process will adhere to principles of equity and fairness, ensuring gender, ethnicity, disability, and regional balance considerations are applied.
The county has also warned that any form of canvassing, direct or indirect, will lead to automatic disqualification.
