The Public Service Board of Trans Nzoia County has invited interested Kenyans to fill 246 vacancies in the County Public Service.
In an advert, the board said the openings are in various departments including health services and sanitation, finance and economic planning, public service management, office of the county attorney, municipal board and education and technical training.
“The County Public Service Board of Trans Nzoia wishes to recruit competent, self-driven, experienced and qualified staff to fill the following positions in the county public service pursuant to Article 176 of the Constitution of Kenya and County Governments Act No.17 of 2012,” read part of the advert.
The positions include that of County Director of Health Services and Sanitation, which has one post in the Health Services and Sanitation department.
Additionally, there are seven posts for Office Administrative Assistants in Public Service Management, and ten posts split evenly between Economists and Statisticians in Finance and Economic Planning.
Trans Nzoia County Vacant Positions
The Office of the County Attorney is seeking one County Solicitor/Deputy Chief Legal Officer, while the Municipal Board requires one Municipal Manager for Kitale Municipality.
In the Education and Technical Training department, there is one position for an Assistant ECDE Teacher I classified under Job Group ‘H’ (CPSB 11).
Additionally, the County is looking to fill three posts for Assistant ECDE Teachers in Job Group ‘G’ (CPSB 12) along with nineteen posts for Assistant ECDE Teachers in Job Group ‘F’ (CPSB 13).
The health department also seeks to recruit 114 registered nurses, 20 enrolled nurses, and one Medical Social Worker.

Other Advertised Positions
Additional roles in health services department include eight Medical Laboratory Technologists, 13 Registered Clinical Officers, and four Nutrition and Dietetics Technologists.
Other health-related positions available are one Mortician, two Assistant Occupational Therapists, four Radiographers, one Assistant Public Health Officer, and three Assistant Physiotherapists.
Moreover, the Health Services and Sanitation department is looking for three Orthopaedic Trauma Technicians and four Health Records and Information Management Assistants.
Also advertised is the position of three Orthopaedic Technologists, and four Medical Engineering Technologists.
There is also one post for a Pharmaceutical Technologist, one for a Principal Human Resource Management Officer, and one Human Resource Management Officer II position.
Additionally, the department seeks two Information Communication Technology Officer III posts, as well as thirteen Medical Officer positions (CPSB 07).
