David Kangogo is a Kenyan politician and a member of parliament representing Marakwet East as a member of parliament under the UDA Party ticket.

David Kangogo began his academic journey at Sambirir Secondary School, where he sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 1998.
Afterwards, he enrolled at the Kenya School of Professional Studies, earning a Diploma in Information Technology between 2001 and 2003.
Seeking to expand his knowledge in the ICT field, he joined Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in 2008.
He later advanced his studies at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Science in ICT Policy and Regulation between 2009 and 2011.

David Kangogo began his professional career in July 1995 as an Assistant Systems Analyst at Swede Software Systems, gaining early exposure to ICT services.
In 2004, he briefly worked as a Computer Technician at Nairobi Hospital.
From 2005 to 2011, he served as an ICT Officer at the Ministry of State for Public Service, where he managed IT infrastructure within the public service sector.
His transition into politics came in March 2013 when he was elected Member of Parliament for Marakwet East on a United Republican Party (URP) ticket.
He was re-elected in 2017 under Jubilee Party, although his win was nullified in 2018 by the High Court over irregularities.
The Court of Appeal overturned that ruling, allowing him to serve his full term.
In August 2022, he reclaimed the seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, narrowly defeating his main rival by 321 votes.
