Biography
Katoo Ole Metito is the former Statehouse Comptroller and Kajiado South MP has been appointed as the new State House Comptroller.

The former MP started his early education at Oltiaska Primary School where he studied from 1980 to 1988, earning their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).
Thereafter, he attended Oloitokitok Secondary School secondary education from 1989 to 1992. where he completed his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Prior to this, they attended Strathmore University, where they obtained a Higher Diploma in Management of Information Systems between 1998 and 2000, following a Diploma in the same field from 1996 to 1998.
From 2001 to 2005, he earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Micro-Processor Technology and Instrumentation from the University of Nairobi.
Between 2009 and 2011, Metito completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Nairobi, also specializing in Strategic Management.
In 2015, Katoo enrolled to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration, with a focus on Strategic Management.
Employment History
In 2017, he served as a Member of Parliament for the Kajiado South Constituency in the Kenya National Assembly.
Before this role, from 2013 to 2017, they held the position of Majority Chief Whip in the Kenya National Assembly. This position allowed them to play a significant role in legislative processes.
Earlier, from 2012 to 2013, they served as the Minister of State in the Provincial Administration and Internal Security, contributing to the governance of security and administrative matters in Kenya.
From 2008 to 2013, they were a Member of Parliament, during which time they also served as the Assistant Minister for Regional Development, further demonstrating their commitment to regional growth and development.
Additionally, from 2006 to 2007, they served as the Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, where they focused on youth empowerment and sports development.
Finally, their political journey began as a Member of Parliament for Kajiado South from 2003 to 2007, establishing a foundation for their subsequent leadership roles
