Kikuyu musician and philanthropist Karangu Muraya is on the spot again after marrying his second wife, Carol Kim. This has forced her to share the details of her previous marriage after being trolled online.
While sharing wedding photos of Carol’s previous marriage, Kenyans online have accused the musician of taking someone else’s wife.
In response to trolls, Carol Kim took to her Facebook page to clear the air on how her previous marriage wound up. She accused those trolling her of judging her without having proper facts. She also confirmed that she is the one who filed for a divorce.

“A lot has been said to the point where some of you are sending me photos of my wedding. But you people do not even have facts. And yes, I am the one who filed the divorce. Done and dusted,” said Carol.
Carol then reposted a post by her friend, Wanja Nyarari who chauffeured her and her ex-husband on their wedding day. Nyarari gave details of the divorce defending Carol Kim.

She gave the details of Carol’s marriage from the time that they got married up to the time the two divorced.
“Her marriage didn’t last six months; they got married in June 2018, and I was the chauffeur. By January 2019, she told him they had parted ways. In 2020, I hosted her at my house during the COVID period, and we even posted photos together, yet she never went back to Dubai,” stated Wanja.

Wanja Nyarari added that Carol divorced her husband in 2022, and her dowry was returned.
“In December 2021, she filed for divorce, and by January 2022, she was granted it. In April 2024, her ruracio was returned because, according to Kikuyu customs, if you have a boy, you don’t return the ‘ruracio’, but if you have a girl, you can. Meanwhile, Ngash got married before Carol and moved on immediately,” added Wanja Nyarari.
Carol was trolled shortly after his husband Karangu Muraya posted photos of himself and Carol as well as with his first wife Triza Karangu seemingly having happy times.

“And because you have decided to troll me at my lowest. Let me put my records straight. Below are special persons who have supported me passionately and wholeheartedly in all seasons,” stated Karangu.
