Karangu Muraya Sends Heartfelt Plea Amid Wrangles with First Wife

Gospel singer and philanthropist Karangu Muraya has asked for privacy as he navigates amid wrangles with his estranged first wife Triza Njeri Karangu.

The singer released a statement revealing how the wrangles displayed on social media over the recent past have affected him.

“The past few days have been deeply challenging for me and my family. I acknowledge that this situation has affected myself and those closest to me, and I sincerely regret any distress it has caused,” he stated.

Karangu accused of elevating second wife

In his statement, Karangu asked for privacy from the public to reflect. He also affirmed that he respects his wife Triza and her choices. He added that he remains hopeful that things will look up.

“Life is a journey, and though this moment is difficult, I trust that we will rise stronger and wiser. I appreciate the love and support I have received and remain hopeful for better days ahead,” he added.

In a heated live TikTok session, Triza accused Karangu of elevating his second wife Carol Kim.

Triza also accused the singer of neglecting her in the village in Gatundu, leaving her to tend to their cattle while he lived in the city with Carol.

Triza asks for privacy

In his defense, Karangu explained that he had built her a mansion and rental houses in Ruiru but she refused to go live with her.

Karangu also sent a group of elders to Triza’s parents to help persuade her to go back to her matrimonial home in Gatundu. Triza was, however, not happy with the move and asked Karangu to respect her parents’ privacy.

“Keep my parents out of social media,” wrote Triza through her Facebook post.

The singer stated that he left his marriage because of marital conflicts that led to months of silence between them. He stated that he found peace in her marriage to his second wife.
